Humans, like the rest of the fauna, are trying to take not by skill, but by numbers, and such that at a certain moment it begins to seem that some Nuremberg trials are crying for the hero far in the future. Among the most serious opponents are not even absolutely mediocre “bosses”, but swarms of bees, which cannot be humanly caught with a mouse in the scope. While traveling, there is nothing to catch the eye here. It is, in principle, understandable: in Northern Europe of those times, serious sights were in short supply, there were no monumental historical buildings like the gardens of Babylon, the Labyrinth or the Great Wall of China. So you have to wade purely through the fruits of the fantasy of Pieces Interactive, but it turned out to be somehow rotten with it. There are definitely beautiful places, but their number is small. The impression is also spoiled by the frankly boorish complication of locations with some impassable carts and flimsy gates that didn’t care about the divine power of the character and past merits: if you please, run a kilometer detour, stuffed to the eyeballs with monsters. ![]() Of course, it’s simply pointless to make claims to the plot of the add-on, since in the original game it was also given a place in the gallery: something happened there with the gods, titans and telkhines, it would be necessary to figure it out … Actually, exactly the same thing happens in Ragnarok : the hero did not have time to return from Hades, how far in the north the next pagan celestials flied, and only the protagonist can save the shaky ancient world. In this regard, Iron Lore substitutes have coped successfully, but then there are fewer and fewer bright moments. Could this add-on do anything? Be at the helm of Iron Lore – perhaps, but the creators of the original game and the add-on Immortal Throne safely shut down nine years ago, and then started all over again and began to make their Titan Quest with grimdark and etherials. THQ Nordic had to call on guest workers-outsourcers from Pieces Interactive, who were once jailed for food to rivet expansions for the first Magicka, and later were asked to make a sequel, which turned out to be much worse than the original.
